0-1 Venenum Temple Assassin

Many Assassins favour poison to dispatch a foe, and there are many poisons available to a would-be assassin. However, they are pale in comparison with the sheer destructive force of the Venenum, master of poison and biological warfare.

Armed with complex bioweapons, containing the most deadly poisons the Imperium can create, Venenum Assassins are walking death. They can kill with a touch, their bodies filled with toxins that only they are immune to, and more than one victim has died to the kiss of a beautiful stranger...

On the battlefield, the Venenum make use of their less subtle equipment. Virus Bombs spread viral death through the enemy, while the Venenum's deadly Venom Blade drips with nano-virals capable of corroding bulkheads, and Needlers that spit ranged death, turning mighty warriors into bloated, rotting corpses.

Allegence Any Imperial Army (except Dark Angels) may take the Venenum Assassin. Note that as the Venenum is an Officio Assassorium Temple, you may not include another Imperial Assassin. Daemonhunters may only take a Venenum if an Inquisitor/Inquisitor Lord is included in the army. Venenum Assassins (like all Officio Assassins) are an Elites choice.

Wargear Venenum Needle Pistol, Venemum Venom Blade, Virus Bombs.

Special Rules

Independent Venenum Assassins may not join squads or ride vehicles. They cannot hold table quarters, capture objectives or count as surviving troops for the Meat Grinder scenario.

Fearless Venenum Assassins are totally fearless, and will never fall back or be pinned, and pass all Morale Checks they are forced to take.

Infiltrate Venenum Assassins may infiltrate if the missions allowed.

Dodge Venenum Assassins move at lightning speed, jinking past blows with preternatural speed. Their save is Invulnerable.

0-1 Vanus Temple Assassin

There are many foes to the Imperium, and for them, the galaxy is a dangerous place. A lift may plummet, their vehicle may crash, and they may stumble across a long forgotten minefield, or be vapourised in the overload of a ship's Plasma Reactor. Often such accidents are caused by the unseen terror that is the Vanus.

Vanus Assassins favour espionage, sabotage and other covert activities. They are master sappers and engineers, able to rig almost any object into a fatal booby trap. For those hunted by the Vanus, nothing is safe, and even if some trap does not snare them, a silent Bolt-shell will...

Daemonhunters may only take a Vanus if an Inquisitor/Inquisitor Lord is included in the army. Vanus Assassins (like all Officio Assassins) are an Elites choice.

Wargear M.40 Bolter, Silenced Bolt Pistol, Frag Grenades, Melta Bombs.

Special Rules

Saboteur Vanus Assassins specialise in unseen dangers, laying mines and booby traps to take out their foes. An army including a Vanus uses Preliminary Bombardment, even if not normally allowed. If the scenario uses it anyway, roll for each unit twice. Also, if Reserves are used, all rolls to call in reserves by the opponent are at a -1 Modifier. Finally, an army containing a Vanus is immune to the Ataloic Disruption Table (they're too busy coping with their own problems to disrupt the enemy!).

Independent Vanus Assassins may not join squads or ride vehicles. They cannot hold table quarters, capture objectives or count as surviving troops for the Meat Grinder scenario.

Fearless Vanus Assassins are totally fearless, and will never fall back or be pinned, and pass all Morale Checks they are forced to take.

Infiltrate Vanus Assassins may infiltrate if the missions allowed.

Sorry, but, first they are Venenum, then Venum, then Venenum again? You have to sort out the names
