Ultramarine Logo Name: Ultramarines
Founding Chapter/Primarch: Roboute Gulliman
Homeworld and location: Macragge, Eastern Fringe.
Specialisation: None, Xenos Hunters: Tyranids.
Imagery: Classical, Greek and Roman

The Ultramarines adhere most strongly to the Codex Astartes of all the chapters. They are unique amongst the Space Marines in that they do not only control a homeworld, they govern an entire sector of the Ultima Segemtum, all of Ultramar is controlled and defended by these noble warriors.

Dark Angels Logo Name: Dark Angels
Founding Chapter/Primarch: Lion 'el Jonson
Homeworld and location: Caliban (Now destroyed. Currently located on a chunk of caliban converted into a fortress monastery)
Specialisation Discipline: and ranged attacks.
Imagery: Semi-witch-hunter and inquisitional. Dark ages, monastic, xenophobic

The Dark Angels have at their heart a black secret. As the First Legion to be founded, these warriors ought to be the pride of the Imperium; however, there are those who decry the Dark Angels as being too aloof. The truth is that this chapter pursue an ancient betrayal from the time of the Heresy, and hold settlement of this black mark higher than anything else.

White Scars Logo Name: White Scars

Homeworld and location: Mundus Planus
Specialisation: Rapid vehicle and bike mounted combat
Imagery: mongolian horse raiders

The White Scars are undisputed masters of the lightning attack. Mounted upon bikes, riding in Rhinos and Razorbacks, these pale riders harrass the enemy flanks before melting away from the enmies clumsy counter attack. Though equipped for rapid attack, the White Scars do not shun rely upon close combat, preferring rapid attack and withdraw to protracted hand to hand combat.

Space Wolves Logo Name: Space Wolves

Specialisation: Short-ranged and close combat
Imagery: Viking and were-wolf

The space wolves as a chapter have possibly the greatest deviation from the codex. the use none of the organisation laid out in the codex, instead using a more complex organisation based on life-long bound "packs" and veterancy. their tactics also differ greatly from the codex. they forgo heavy weapons (except in long-fangs and wolf-guard: the veterans of the chapter) and instead use greater numbers of weapons desigen to create maximum impact in a melee, making for tactics that rely much more heavily on a closer ranged style of combat

Imperial Fists Logo Name: Imperial Fists
Founding Chapter/Primarch: Rogal Dorn
Homeworld and location: The Phalanx, space borne Fortress Monastry
Specialisation: Urban Warefare. Attacking and defending fortifications
Imagery: A fist or gauntlet.

The Imperial Fists are based in their fortress Monastery, the Phalanx. The Imperial Fists helped to defend the Holy Emperors Palace on Terra during the Horus Heresy. They defended it's walls with their heavy weapons and as such have a rivalry with the Iron Warriors, as they were both excellent siege masters, although it's not a case of "One builds, the other knocks it down"; they are both equally skilled on offence or defence.

They hate defeat and will hold out in the face of insurmountable odds even if a withdrawal is better. Dorn and Perturabo (The Primarch of the Iron Warriors) were intense rivals even before the Heresy when they were 'loyal brothers', once the Heresy was over they still hated each other and both excel in offence and defence in attacks on bastions and in Urban Warfare, which is where the intense rivalry way born from.

The Imperial Fists believe in purity and the warrior spirit within above all else and will not retreat even when it maye be beneficial.

Blood Angels Logo Name: Blood Angels
Founding Chapter/Primarch: Sanguinius
Homeworld and location: Baal

Imagery: Vampirical

The blood angels have a long-standing curse that was caused by the death of their primarch at the hands of horus during the horus heresy. this manifests itsself in the form of the black rage which causes them to become berserkers. however, if they give in fully to the black rage, they can become lost in the red thirst, a much more dire problem. the blood angles tactics deviate somewhat from the codex by their tendency to employ greater-than-normal numbers of jump-pack troops. also, it should be noted that this curse has been passsed down to their successor chapters. however, often their successor chapters have manifested this curse in an even worse manner than the blood angels.

Iron Hands Logo Name: Iron hands
Founding Chapter/Primarch: Ferrus Manus
Homeworld and location: Medusa
Specialisation: Bionics
Imagery: The Terminator?

The Iron Hands maintain close ties with the Machine Cult of Mars, the rank of leader amongst each company is held by an Iron Father, a cross between a Chaplain and a Techmarine. The Iron Hands relentlessly pursue purity of form and soul; to these ends they commonly replace their flesh with bionic components, to the extent that some members of the upper ranks are rumoured to have no organic material other than their brains remaining.

Salamanders Logo Name: Salamanders

Imagery: Draconic. Humble smiths, lots of hammers and fire.

The Salamanders come from a planet with a large amount of volcanic activity, and so have a culture that reflects this. they often use more flamers in their squads than normal, and are known for their prowess in the forge. The Salamanders are almost unique amongst the Adeptus Astartes in that they do not live apart from the population from whom they recruit. These Space marines are known and loved by the people whom the serve and protect, holding positions of influence amongts the community and aiding those around them; young aspirants are often assigned to a Chapter Brother in order to learn the ways of the Slamanders, as well as the skills of the smithy.

Specialisatio:n Close Combat.
Imagery: Puritanical and Zealous

The Black Templars were formed from the geneseed of Rogal Dorn. Originally made up from the most zealous of the Imperial Fists they were lead by Sigismund, the original Emperors Champion on a crusade that has lasted 10,000 years. They do not live on any specific planet being a space borne chapter, however they do create outposts called keeps on worlds where they are required. They also do not adhere to the Index Astartes having no companies. Instead they are formed into Crusades which are company sized or bigger formations. There is no scout company instead Neophytes are trained by the Initiates of the Black Templar crusade. They are also the creators of the famed Land Raider Crusader an Anti-Infantry Transport tank which has a larger capacity for carrying Marines and Terminators.

Impressive. The only fault is with the Raven Guard section. That assault was made against Istvaan V not Istvaan IV, and Horus' homeworld was Cthonia, nowhere near the istvaan system.

1 section with errors, -1rating. Otherwise it'd have a 10 from me.

Good work.
