Ethereal "Archangel"

Ethereal "Archangel" is the center piece to my Tau army.
I have fluff for an Ethereal on a planet by a warp storm that has constant fights with daemons from the warp: An Ethereal Child is born with wings, he's known as the Ethereal Savior and as we know Tau will follow an Ethereal anywhere, well this is more like a god version.
So I needed a conversion that would do that for me. This conversion is made from over 30 bits! He has green-stuff leg joints and feet joints to make him taller and larger than life. He has the wings green-stuffed onto his back.
He was painted to match the Urban/desert color but I went two more shades whiter to make him seem even more "holy". I added some version of Tau Purity seals to him to show he is holy.
I think this was one of my most in-depth conversions for a figure so far.

| Swooping Hawk wings would've been better- the ones he has are a bit oversized. Nice other than that, though.

| It's good, like FNProject said it's obvious that a lot of effort went into it... But it just doesnt feel very Tau, looks a bit out of place to me...

| a lot of effort and time was put into this i presume, much respect. but i can't really agree with the idea of holiness =/ ... i like tau becasue they do NOT worship gods like all the other races of the 40k universe, therefor my judgment on your conversion is a little biased :EE

| The mini is great, incredible paint job and alterations, but wasn't it stated somewhere that the ethereals never wore armor, that it conflicted with their attunement to the Greater Good? And I am not sure what you mean by "he's known as the Ethereal Savior and as we know Tau will follow an Ethereal anywhere, well this is more like a god version." The Greater Good isn't as much a modern religeon as it is like a code of honor. It could be compared to Daoism, in which gods and higher entities were not worshipped, and the preists were only those who held importance in the church and only had the knowledge and power they earned realistically. In any case, it's an awesome conversion!
