Thanks to Tau Online for this.

To get the skin colour like I did, I firstly went over the skin with Regal Blue, then I dry brushed over it with Enchanted Blue and finally I used Lightning Blue.

Then for the body I painted the cloth with Blood Red and the stitches which hold the cloth together were painted tentacle pink. Then I painted the body armour with Blazing Orange.

Then I painted the gun with Boltgun Metal then I went over it with Chainmail. As for the quills on the kroot's head I painted them Blood Red although you can't clearly see it from the photo.

For the base I painted the edge of it Dark Angels Green then I put Modelling Flock on the base followed by random blobs of Static Grass.

No offence but i don\'t think that kroot, even on a multicoloured world would end up like that, it just doesn\'t look right

I like the paint-while-on-the-sprue technique, but the color scheme makes me gag... repeatedly...

Dude, carefull when you paint on the sprue those evil, evil mould lines are hard to see on sprue and you'll muck up the paintjob if you do it after, paint sceme looks great though!!

I like how the Kroot is painted. I might use that idea for my Kroot, once I get them. I don't like the Tentacle Pink though. I guess nothing else would stand out as much.
