"Those Shas'ui that prove themselves in battle earn the right to wear battlesuits and bear the name of Shas'vre. But there are some exceptions. Some Shas'Ui are so tied to their squads that, after the gain the rank of Shas'vre, they refuse the use of a Battlesuit in the battlefield. They prefer to stay with their Fire Warriors, fighting back to back. Their experience in battle makes them a little more efficient in close combat, so they can protect their fellow companions if - and when - the enemy approaches..."

Shas'vre leader - This Commander was created for Combat Patrol - so for games up to 500pts. So, it can be possible that this unit will have no place in a 1000pts army.

He can equip EMP grenades for an additional cost of +3pts, and Photon grenades for an additional cost of +1.
He has access to the Tau Armory.
