Tau Auxiliaries

The Tau Auxiliaries appeared in Chapter Approved. A one-off figure was made for fun using a Catachan model with Tau torso making him look rather muscular.
To make a full squad took standard Cadian troops but fitted with Fire Warrior backpacks and arm shields. Aerials were fitted to the helmets and Imperial insignia removed with a knife and file. Some carry Tau accessories such as grenades, 2 carry pulse rifles, and one is accompanied by a dog from the Warhammer Bretonnian Men at Arms set.
Overall, some basic cannon fodder, but always get a second look when being used.

| i don't particularly like the paint scheme but the conversions are great, nd the dog is actually quite and awesome touch. btw i think adding the shoulder pads etc. acually are needed to seperate them out from normal IG on the battlefield

Hey good conversion and all and i don't see why affter the tau have taken the colony the human's should not be allowed to keep their pets!
Though, when i do my Gue'Vesa, they will be a little bit different. See, i don't think the tau would bother to give them sholder pads, auspex, backpacks, if they don't even bother to give them all pulse rifles.

| The dog is there 'cos it looks cool! It also represents the fact that the Auxiliaries are human, and have kept some of their human traits despite supporting the Tau.
