Thanks to xblooddemonx (Sam) for this.
This is a tau empire sniper, which I made crouching behind a rock for cover.
It was relatively simple to make only using a couple of bits but I am really proud of its base. It uses a tau pathfinder's rail rifle with a normal fire warrior's body.
It has a little pistol resting on the rock, which I made by cutting the middle out of a pulse rifle and sticking the front and end of it together. It is my first conversion and I think it is rather good and I would like to know what you think.

| Good job, I like people snipers more than drones so I think this is really cool. BTW, try more shading and drybrushing next time.

| On the battlefield.... does the rock move with him? That seems a bit unrealistic... also, does he benefit from the rock as cover, or would he have to find other cover such as... another rock? =] sorry, im very interested by this rock... ^^

| I like it but I think you should thin your paints out, and then get some highlights for the cloth an maybe add abit of a dusty brown to blend him into your excellently done base.

| I like it, it's pretty cool, the way he's taking cover behind the rock, the base is excellent. The paint job could use some work, but I probably couldn't do much better so I shouldn't really comment :P

| not bad i've always liked snipers but you could have gone with a hybrid of the cadian sniper and fire warrior sprues all in all great!

| yup, is just pathfinder. buuuuut....is a nice scene, with him hiding behind rocks. although, paint work could be a lot better.

| I really enjoy the base. The paint job needs work, not enough highlighting or other general tau armor features. What is wrong with the shoulder pad? The pistol I thought at first was a gun rest/steadier, which would probably have been a cooler idea. Don't they usually use automated drones for sniping though? I love your terrain work, maybe you should make some buildings or battlefields! you have a knack for it!
