Thanks to Blayne Steed King for this.
To make the above snow piece, you will need the following scener pieces:
Using the cutting knife I carved the two pieces of pink foam to fit together on one side.
After the pink foam was carved I then applyed them together using ROSS All Purpose dry clear glue.
When the glue had dried I used a paint brush to uncoat the entire piece using regal blue.
For the areas that I wanted to look higher in altitude I used smelly primer overlayers of space wolves grey.
To add the snow texture I wanted on the piece I used a foam sprey adhesive over the areas I wanted to be flocked with a snow surface.
Adding some baking soda over the sprayed areas of the pink foam I flocked it on with slightly heavy coats.
Make sure you have covered the entire pink foam piece with layers of paint or the spray will melt through the pink foam. Now that that is done use a protective spray sealer to have the baking soda stay put. I would do this project outside or in a spray booth. I always try to wear a dust mask to protect myself from the particulants.
