Thanks to Hanging Dragon for this

This piece of terrain is actually far easier than it looks:

You will need:

On page 3 of the Eldar Codex you will see a profile of an Eldar Warp gate overlaid with graph paper. Copy this onto your own graph paper in the scale you want it. Cut out the copy and you now have a template for the Warp gate. Using the template, cut out enough gates to make about 1" thickness when stuck together, you can also use a Styrofoam Also known as polystyrene) sheet of sufficient thickness if you have one. Glue your creation onto a base, then use a filler paste to smooth over the whole model and even it out to make it look like a solid piece.

Glue on the extras like the electrical wiring and costume jewellery then paint the model and flock the base. That's it!

Warpgate 2 - The addition of cheap costume jewellery can make an ordinary piece of Eldar terrain quite stunning. These gems where once earrings and a broach.
